From pregnancy to parenting, SMHC provides full services at two off-site locations for mothers and children. We offer pediatric services at two centers and the expertise of full-time pediatric physicians who have full hospital privileges at Southern Maryland Hospital Center. Services offered are:
- Primary care medicine for all children - Screenings, preventive health care, and health education - Referrals to specialists when necessary - Routine physicals, plus school and sports check-ups - Treatment of coughs, cold or flu, gastrointestinal disorders and high blood pressure - Allergy injections - Routine blood work - Routine gynecological exams - Attention to sprains and strains
