Carries out physician orders
Assesses patient medical status
Teaches about medications and special diets

Performs treatments
Physical Therapist
Evaluates patient status
Develops exercise programs tailored to patient needs and abilities for gross motor skills
Promotes independence with activities of daily living
Teaches proper use of equipment
Occupational Therapist
Evaluates patient status
Develops exercise program tailored to patient needs and abilities for fine motor skills
Promotes independence with activities of daily living
teaches how to safely perform routine day-to-day activities
Speech Therapist
Evaluates patient status
Develops exercise programs to assist with improving communication skills
Develops exercise programs to improve swallowing ability

Medical Social Worker
Assists with arranging for patient needs such as housing, food, caretaking and finances
Assists with referrals to community resources
Home Health Aide
