From pregnancy to parenting, SMHC provides full services at two off-site locations for mothers and children. We offer pediatric services at two centers and the expertise of full-time pediatric physicians who have full hospital privileges at Southern Maryland Hospital Center. Services offered are:

•  Primary care medicine for all children
• Screenings, preventive health care, and health education
• Referrals to specialists when necessary
• Routine physicals, plus school and sports check-ups
• Treatment of coughs, cold or flu, gastrointestinal disorders and high blood pressure
• Allergy injections
• Routine blood work
• Routine gynecological exams
• Attention to sprains and strains
  
   

Centrally located in Waldorf, Maryland, we’re here to care for your sick child week-nights and week-ends when your regular pediatrician is not available.  Our goal is to offer top quality, convenient medical care when your child has a “can’t wait” problem.

Our pediatricians are trained to care for infants and children up to the age of 18.  We offer immediate care for:

·         Rashes

·         Fevers

·         Minor sprains, burns, scrapes, and cuts

·         Minor eye injuries

·         Mild asthma attacks
