Nurse Scholarships for current employees:
Southern Maryland Hospital is committed to offering continual education benefits and tuition assistance to our current employees. We believe in supporting continual education throughout one’s nursing career.
Nursing Student Scholarships: We have offered scholarships for ADN or BSN Nursing School Students up to $5,000. These employees combine your nursing education with on the job healthcare experience. ADN to BSN Scholarship: SMHC has awarded 20 current RN’s scholarships to The College of Notre Dame of Maryland. The first cohort of nurses began their journey in March of 2011 and anticipates graduation in 2013. Please continue to visit our website for details on future scholarship availabilities.
